G7 Hiroshima AI Process: International Guiding Principles and Code of Conduct for Advanced AI

The G7's code of conduct for companies building advanced AI, backed by a public reporting system run by the OECD. Around twenty firms now file reports, but reporting is voluntary and self-graded.

What actually happened
The OECD launched a reporting framework on 2025-02-07 and published the first 19 company reports on 2025-04-24 (Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI among them; Meta and xAI absent) (https://oecd.ai/en/wonk/initial-submissions-g7-hiroshima-ai-process-reporting-framework). A streamlined SME framework followed in May 2026 (https://www.oecd.org/en/about/news/press-releases/2026/05/oecd-launches-streamlined-hiroshima-ai-process-reporting-framework-to-help-small-and-medium-sized-enterprises-participate.html). Reports are self-attested and unaudited. Looked for: consequences for non-reporters - none.
